I looking into a new mixer and came across this one and was wondering if anyone has been able to play on one.....Dateq is supposedly a quality name over in holland and me being from the US really have no idea....any input on it would be great.....i am also curious about the crossfader on it???does it have a nice slope or come in hard?...how bout sound quality???.thanx~
I had a friend who's played on one before and nothing but compliments went to that mixer. He says the EQs probly the best sounding he's ever used, and 100mm channel sliders are just a sweet bonus.

thanx....i have ordered one and will give my opinion on it.....the thing that interested me is it puts out the low end at 50hz which is the same as the urei.....this mixer seems to have potential....but like anything u have to try for yourself!!
I've had the XTC, but i bought a bigger dateq (I needed more inputs). But when i only had a mixer ans 2 CD-players it kicked ass! I love the durability of it, those mixers survive almost everything! I've seen Dateq mixers aged 15+ years and older, and they still do there job. I also like the simplicity, no extra flashy options, just the things you need. Enjoy your XTC!

And yes, i have a mdr-v700DJ, and i am not affraid to use it
About sound quality: It's really good. Those mixers have a huge headroom (I thought it was +18dB), and i personally used it @ +6 dB output max. I never heard any distorsion, and when i put gain, fader en outputlevel at max I heard almost no noise.
Ow, btw: that picture below the name of the poster is called an avatar, a signature is below a post
