Technics RP-DJ 1210

Couldn't find anything in Search (was all about the TTs).

Following the recent trend of headphones threads, does anyone rate the Technics Rp-DJ1210s?
Now, if i buy these I will use them for when I play clubs (if I play clubs), will they be up to the job? Good durability? Sound?

These are the older model, not the new DH-1200s.
I seriously doubt I will get Sony MDV-700s.

Comparison of the Technics and the Stanton 3000S would be good too, they are my other cheap option.

I never really liked the sound quality of the Technics: It is not neutral by far. It is flexible though and doesn't break easily, but the sound quality is a big problem.

Even though there are loads of ppl who don't agree with me

I had these briefly( have had pretty much every pair on the market at some point)

They are ok. I didnt get on with them tho.
Cups are designed for small ears and the sound seemed a bit mid heavy.
I founf them personally very unconfortable
Good durability but try before you buy to make sure they feel and fit on your head ok
