London - Sleepless - Trance/Breaks - 02/04/04
Sleepless is back on Friday 2nd April at the excellent SEOne with another awesome line-up of well established talent and quality future heros. Expect the usual attention to décor and lighting with the fluoro Breaks room and and our infamous laser and bubble drenched Trance room.
Always pushing things forward musically, we are again offering something very special and entirely unique with a line-up that is simply unbeatable. Trance and Breaks done properly.
In the Trance room we have Gallery future hero Tim Davison, a personal favourite of mine and one of very few DJs that offers such style with his selection, mixing and clever use of samples. Following Tim, we are treating you to a real superstar DJ - Renaissance resident Nigel Dawson. Seriously talented and one of my favourite DJs in the world. After Nigel, we have the Sleepless debut of Anthony Dean, a rising star in London and a hugely versatile and skilled DJ. Dave Irvine will then grace the decks with solid big room Trance, uplifting and throbbing tunes that are perfect for 3am. Spangulation's Steve Hitch and Sleepless resident Andy Harkin close, with an edgy psychedelic fuelled back to back set.
In the Breaks room, we headline with Soul of Man, behind the monster Fingerlickin' records and regulars at Fabric, they are one of the finest production/DJ names on the circuit. Joining them are Paul Arnold, head honcho at Chew the Fat - London's longest running breaks night, Martin McNeill from Junktion, Simon Preston from Progbreaks board and Sleepless resident Steelo. We're also very lucky to have MC Xander, an awesome human beatbox who will be performing some amazing oral skills during Steelo's set.
Expect a few treats, free CDs and other gifts, the usual party ingredients that make Sleepless unique.
:wiggle:
There was an excellent review of the 5th Birthday party on this site, here's a link.
