Hello! any irish here give me some advice

hey if anyone here is irish or scottish tell me some good cds or some songs to dl with celtic bagpipes. I want the irsish soccer chant and the funeral song played in pipes. I got one dl of the funeral song with the drums and its sick but the rip quality is way to low. I also found a song and i think the artist is the rouges of scotland or maybe that is the song but its great and i want to take some of these tracks and bring them to the dance floor.

I'm Irish, but just because we are Irish or live in Ireland doesn't mean that we should automatically know about celtic music or bagpipes! That's a pretty stereotypical view. Do you think all Irish people eat Lucky Charms too?

Every morning when I woke up in Edinburgh, there were guys playing the bagpipes.

No, I'm not joking. Beautiful city too.

And for the record, I don't know any of these tracks, and don't expect the Irish or the Scottish to automatically know; although they might have more exposure to the genuine sound there's no guarantee that they'll be experts about it.

What irish soccer chant are ye talkin about?

These are played on uileann pipes(Irish version of Bagpipes).
Lark In the Morning
Dear Irish Boy

Anyway go to http://www.pipers.ie/en/default.lasso
That site should be of some help.

Some cds to get would be (from Amazon):
Highland Pipes & Drums (Bagpipe Music of Scotland)
Amazing Grace: Bagpipes & Drums of Scotland
