favorite older trance song
After hearing tiesto and oakenfold for the last month or two, I went back through my collection and found my old binary finary cds.
man....I think the music back 4 years ago was so much better than most of today's.
The dumonde mix of Binary finary 2000 is so much better than everything i hear nowadays. Plus 2000 was when tool put out lateralus.
But yeah, my favorite old trance song is binary finary's 1998 and it's various mixes: 1999, 2000 etc...
any one else still listen to them?

Damn those are ooolld!!! I was something like 3 years old back in 2000 and can hardly remember that far back..
I wonder what would you say about "real" old trancers from 1992-1994 if 2000 is old for you.

i do belive he's talking about the "golden era" of trance, and it is much better that now days.
Everytime someone asks me this question i can never give on true favorite.
Some that spring to mind at the moment are Pearl River, The Eternal, Gouryella.
Binary finary pecks ed now.

ya i'm still listening to the old tracks too....and they are MUCH better...much more uplifting...IMO i think the DJ's now are too, shall we say, progressive such as Tiesto...his mixes aren't as uplifting as before.

Binary Finary - 1998 on CD single was the first trance related music single that i bought.. it had the Kaycee, Matt Darey and PVD Mixes
was a fantastic cd .. i also got the original beachball on CD, which is a great cd. In fact i never had vinyl decks for the first year djing so i have about 300 odd cd singles still lying around from 1997-2000 period hehe
but one of my faves from then was Lost Tribe - Gamemaster
