I would go actually, just for Adam Freeland, but fares to Birmingham are ridiculous, and I'm kinda broke.

I'm going actually, mainly for the sake of showing a gods virgin what all the fuss is about. But Freeland and j00f is a bonus.
Allough I am working 8am on Saturday! I'm gonna be cutting it fine and in no mood to deal with the general public (despite being a shop assistant).
Also whats Jules like, despite his fairly commercial (radio 1) appeal I hear his mixing isn't bad. Is this true? What about his tune selection at somewhere like GK, its not cheese is it?

Depends. You’ll deffo get more of a commercial set from him at Gods or GK, than say The Arches or The Gallery. Last time I was at Gods and he was on he played an absolute blinder. Some awesome tunes and flawless mixing, so my advice is to just go and see how things pan out on the night. You might be pleasantly surprised.

when i was at gods in february and jules was on with ferry he was terrible, his tunes were random and some VERY cheesy. his mixing was awful, no set structure, slamming crossfader style transistions and he didnt seem to know what gains were.
just a warning.

words of wisdom there. ive always liked jules, but his style depends on where he plays. when he plays at passion its banging, not at all cheesey hard trance, but gods k is alot more commercial than passion, esp being in a city. and when i saw him at gods i was gobsmacked by his performance. reasons why are listed above.
