I've never really explored psy-trance but this song blows my mind. Which other Astral Projection songs have a similar sound? On top of that, which other psy-trance artists should I check out?

Hmm well Ambient Galaxy is ambient stuff of course, sometimes called (by mean anyway) psybient. Astral Projection have done a few others in that style, beatless that is. Check out:

Check out the whole Dancing Galaxy album from Astral Projection. Not a single boring track on that one. If you don't want to get the album then just get Astral Projection - Dancing Galaxy. Ambient Galaxy is a ambient/chillout version of Dancing Galaxy. They both have very similar sounds.

hm some really good recommendations up there..
although most of them like psydrop and infected mushroom are more like...'hardcore' psytrance will astral projection is more melodic IMHO

if you wish to explore mad upbeat psy with melodies and fx to blow your mind, check out Eskimo, Protoculture & some Space Tribe stuff too

I'm just getting into psy myself, but really enjoying it, just something a bit different from the usual asot sound trance that seems to need a kick up the ass

Try "Iridium - 12,000 Suns". I'm fairly certain it is an Astral Projection production, and it's more similar to Ambient Galaxy than any of their other works.

I love most of the recommendations so far, and have a couple of my own. You mentioned a very PSY/ambient (for lack of a better term) track of AP's, while most of their stuff is pretty bangin.

Check out some Sphongle or Doof for the more laid-back chill style, or some Ticon or Bamboo Forest for the more upbeat & bangin style.

And now that you've heard one AP tune, you've got to hear them all. You'll become a fanatic soon because all their stuff is sick! I think you can still grab all their tunes off of mp3.com/astralprojection IIRC. The version of Mahadeva on there is the best version I've heard too. It's different than the version I have on their album and a must hear!
