sorry but Seaman's & Phil K's "Therapy Sessions" is pretty dull and boring

i just got it yesterday and listend to it fully. at the end the first disc was pretty dull and nothing going on. and disc 2 was even worse maybe due to the face that i don't really like much breakbeat stuff.

whatya guys think

Well, I don't think it's just a matter of not liking progressive or breaks. From what I've read in magazines and on the net, "the critics" haven't been too favorable either.

Nope, gotta agree - didnt like it either.. im not the biggest progressive fan around, but i found it rather uninspiring. But I guess its all about personal opinions, isnt it?

I have not heard the 2cd yet...I refuse to download CDs. Since I review for ivibes, a promo company wanted me to review it and I wait for my copy. I probably would have bought it otherwise. I'll still mad as hell, I cannot blag a copy of stupid (his remix). I missed him tonite at the guv and he probably played that tune.

My personal opinion is that some prog breaks like prog are just lifeless at times. Tho I bet for every person that says it sucks..you will have someone who says OMG IT OWNS!!!!!....

Exactly.

What were you doing buying a Phil K CD if you "don't really like much breakbeat stuff"?

Well, that's not very charitable. I was just saying that some critics agree with what the lead poster said. I do like some breaks, and I do like some progressive. I haven't listened to the CD either, so I wasn't speaking from personal experience. I was just chipping in what I had heard.

i agree with slade, my gosh....this is rare

either you love prog breaks, you like some prog breaks or you hate it completely. I like some prog breaks but I doubt I'd check this CD out cuz I cannot take full on prog breaks for a long period.
