Hi, i looked at the Dj mag's top 100 Dj's in the world and i didnt agree with Tiësto being number one. I wont say who i thinks should be cause that might cause to much chaos, but i would also like to say that Cosmic gate shouldnt be in 86 place either thats my opinion.

...but since I don't like bitching about these repeated threads I'll respond.

Do I think Tiesto should be #1? No comment. But I will say this. The DJ Mag Top 100 poll is based on POPULARITY not SKILL so this poll ISN'T saying that Tiesto is the BEST DJ in the world, but the most POPULAR! For people who get all bent out of shape to say he shouldn't be #1...well Tiesto brings in the crowds and people don't vote for crappy DJ's he's obviously doing something right...he may not be the BEST (by far) but he can please a crowd all to well and does a good job at putting on a fantastic show.

Like I said...this poll rates POPULARITY not SKILL. So what if your favorite DJ isn't the most popular, enjoy him/her none the less and don't concern yourself with what the massives are enjoying...

and remember, different people have different tastes in music

I mean take a look at the ta forum, there are those who do nothing but flame tiesto all day, they insist his music blows and they dont get why people worship him. On the other hand there are those that love him and support him because for them he is the best.

in my opinion tiesto is one of the best producers/djs around, ok some of his productions I dont like but there are others that are simply amazing. Also look at the magik and ISOS series, for me they are briliant, but that's just me, this is my opinion, IMO he deserve's #1.

offcoarse there are others that deserve to be #1 but only one can get there



oh and as for cosmic gate, IMO they are teh sux hey dont deserve to be in the top 100, along with many others, but again that's just me
