The collaboration of David Forbes and Mallorca Lee is known as Scanners. They have a bunch of singles, and it has always been a very different sound than the sound of David Forbes' solo work.

Releases:

Superhighway EP [Limbo] 2001
Psychic Gymnasium [Eve Records] 2001
Go Out Get Fucked Up / What God Has Givin You [Debunk] 2002
Prayer [Limbo] 2002
Femme Fatale [Debunk] 2003
Shivver [Debunk] 2003
Gypsy / Digital Playground [Debunk] 2003

Remixes:

David Forbes -Answers (Scanners Remix) [Red Monkey Records] 2003
David Forbes - Simpatico (Scanners "Welcome To Debunk" Mix) [Red Monkey Records] 2003

I like 'em a lot. "Go Out.." is still one of my favorites.

I take back my comment about this NOT being a ripoff of New Time New Place. You are 100% correct, after listening to Quadra and NTNP back to back I have to say that not only is Quadra a ripoff of NTNP, it's a shitty rip off of it. Thumbs down to David Forbes.

this tune is a blatant rip-off of new time new place. I'm all for supporting scottish dance artists, but if they carry on releasing tunes like this under a new title then something has to be done.

it's fuckin shite anyway, sounds like a 2 dollar remake of ntnp...

Not bad at all! Yeah, it's a rip-off of New Time New Place, but hey, there are a million ripoffs of epic trance tunes. I think tech-trance can afford a few.

Still, I wish New Time New Place had gotten the accolade it deserved.

I don't like it that much anyway... and then of course there's the fact that it's a rip-off of NTNP...

I just heard this, and WOW what a cheesy piece of SHIT!
Wtf happened to the Scanners? They used to make some quality prog!
They might as well have named this New Time New Place (4 Clubbers Casio Remix) lol
