tight as "above & beyond"

do someone here knows how to get the bass and the kick sound tight and fat togheter like it's doing in all "above & beyond" traxx...if u know can u upload a clip of your track...and write a litte how u did...eq, compressor...settings and so on...

Sidechain compression where the kick acts as the trigger and the bass is compressed.

keep hearing about sidechain compression and get the feeling its rather important for achieving a good mix..can it be done in reason?

There have been a few posts on this. Nothing that a quick search wont turn up. Also im sure there are many tutorials all over the internet about how to use a sidechain compressor. I dont think reason has a sidechain compressor, someone on here thought of a way to do it without an actual compressor with sidechain. You could use rewire (an awesome tool!) to rewire to cubase, but that gets expensive.
