you better start then because Chablesound is getting hotter every minute
my predictions for 2004:
prog area: sasha's new mixcd for GU will probably be the highlight of the year. If they release a unmixed vinyl shortly after the CD release then I bet these tracks will be in everyones playlist in the summer.
I would also place my bets on the Filterheadz sound
prog'n'breaks: As I've already told: Luke Chable will own everybody in 2004. I hope that he manages to keep up the quality of his tracks & remixes. This, however, cannot be done at the quantity of work he is giving out at the moment. So the only way to go for him would be to produce a little less so that he wouldn't give out all his ideas in just one year.
Hyper: Having just released the WIRED MixCD & numerous remixes (for PvD & Sarah McLachlan for example) I think his hard-to-describe sound will get big this year.
Wrecked Angle: Remixes for Pete Gawtry, Chakra, Age of Love have proved that this duo has great potential for future releases.
Trance: Its the hardest to predict actually due to the high amount of releases coming out its hard to pick one.. Im sure that Above&Beyond sound will get VERY big (although it already is). With Oceanlab - Sattellite coming out everywhere its bound to reach high positions in charts. So watch out for future anjunabeats releases.
Also I would keep an eye on the all the new producers out there.. Envio, Fictivision, Robert Nickson, Mike Foyle, Octagen & Arizona, Haak, Passiva + many others since innovation nowadays comes from the younger heads since more popular djs have to make music that would appeal to as much people as possible.
