Some midi files of current ideas I'm working on.

These are some songs I've had for a while, not really dance music so much, but I'm trying to practice writing drum/rythm lines to these two pieces. (still working on said rythm lines, so no post on them yet)

http://us.f1f.yahoofs.com/bc/6dd869...f0lpiAB5OHC2GUR 4/4 time, 100 BPM, an orchestral arrangement I did for a music theory class a while ago when I was experimenting with dissonance and augmented chords. there's a lot of half step intervals in the chordal structure. I'd like to bring the fuge style of the intro into a dance tune (albiet, with less dissonance), but my lack of hardware is really screwing up my ability to create melodies with ease

http://us.f1f.yahoofs.com/bc/6dd869...f0lpiABHSlwlFhp 12/8 time, 60BPM (I think...)A piece that I'd like to take into the relm of electronic music, again, no rythm, and badly "mixed" with the melodic and counter melodic voices. also, I need a better sound bank to get the tones that I want for the piece

4/4 time, 100 BPM. Experimenting with exchaning melodic lines between instruments, and also dealing with differently syncopated rythms at the same time. it works pretty well, and am thinking of using the idea for siren noises as an effects add in of somekind.

4/4 time, 60BPM. this was one of my 1st experiments in creating a melody based on a major scale, and also of using traditional cadances for chord progressions. I think it'd make a good vocal tune, with the right kind of sounds in the counter melody and bass line, and also with some kind of rythm line.

4/4 time, 100BPM, straight up traditional cadances (1-4-5-4-3-5-1 IIRC). would make for an interesting bass line to build around, but that's it.

thoughts on what I could take from said pieces and apply to the electronic music genre? I'm open to any and all critiques, as they really arne't finished compositions. also, I have the original score sheets I wrote out for them if people are interested in a directors style score of the midi files.

[edit]I need a new host, as it appears that only the 1st file is accessable. any suggestions on where I can get free hosting for midi files?[/edit]
