Tiesto has made some great tracks for sure. Lets wait for the liner notes to see more details. |
Sorry, don't speak Canada, as long as you understand what am I speaking of.

I have all the tracks now..didn't take long at all either.
Generally, I like this album, but I can see myself listening to only 5 or 6 tracks regularly and skipping the rest after awhile. Since I have nothing to do, I'll write a review for you all.
1)Forever Today - amazing, uplifting trance with a bit of a techy side to it. The classical piece is nice, but doesn't quite fit the track as well as the opening and closing of Magik Journey. Still, this will be one of my favourites for a long time. 10/10
2)Love Comes Again - meh...I don't hate it as much as I did once I first heard it, but it's still nothing special. BT should stick to producing....this track just feels so Euro. 6/10
3)Traffic - killer tune...great in the clubs. I wish they had used the vinyl rip though. 9/10
4)Sweet Misery - Kinda boring...not a bad bassline to it, but not memorable. 5/10
5)Nyana - always liked this one, even though Tiesto just ripped off his own remix of Subtle By Design - Sirius. 9/10
6)UR - this track is pointless and doesn't fit the album at all. Male vocals are ghey. 4/10
7)Walking On Clouds - Not crazy about the vocals, but I like the bassline, melody and effects. 7.5/10
8)A Tear In The Open - a really good uplifting track, but those LOTR style vocals are so cheese. 7.5/10
9)Just Be - Again, another cliche vocal track...why are the big boys producing so many vocal tracks lately? First Armin, then PvD and now Tiesto. Disappointing! 7/10
10)Adagio For Strings - An awesome remix by Tiesto, but I'm not sure how this qualifies as a production for an artist album. Still, excellent stuff. 9/10
So the grand total is...74 out of 100. It is not anywhere near the majesty of In My Memory, but is still worth buying if you're into Tiesto. I'm not sure what he was trying to do with this album, though I suspect he's trying to tap the commercial market to fatten his wallet before everything Tiesto becomes uncool. But at least he can do it with some class while trying to appease his long time fans by including some fucking great stuff. I'm just glad his albums don't really reflect the way he plays live.
Thoughts? I'm scared to post this on the official Tiesto site. They might murder me, since they're all going on about how great it is.
