EQing b4 or after panning is very much the same either way. Stereo spectrum is not directly related tothe frequency spectrum.
Adjusting EQ is how you speerate the instruments and sounds from eachother so there's articulated clarity between them. STereo Imaging is another way of doing this without EQing, but don't overuse it or you'll distract from the mix's focal point's. |
Hey thanks!! The helps out quite a bit. But what I would also like to know, since adjusting both spectrum increases clarity of seperate tracks, which would you adjust first? EQ or panning? or does it not really matter? thanks a lot!
