Nth Korea train accident

Why are they trying to keep it a big secret?
One news source said that the government, disconnected the phone lines so the news wouldnt get out.

quote:
"There was no collision," said the official, Masood Hyder, the United Nations humanitarian coordinator in North Korea.

It really does remind me of comical ali, during the invasion of Iraq.
Its also really hard to find anything on it, kind of makes me think why the secrecy?

news link

and another here

kim il jong keeps it such a secret because if they accept international aid, the people who have been brainwashed into thinking they are the richest nation and the best country in the world will start to wonder about the outside world. and why these people are so nice.

and that will undermine kims authority, and power.

we all know whats going to happen to those responsible for the accident. execution, torture, or savage imprisonment. and dozens are likely to die because of the lack of medical aid.

Only sad part is it didn't blow up when Kim Jong-Il passed through the town on rail about 9 hours earlier.

Agree. The amount of paranoia and unadaptability in people like Lil Kim is fascinating. It's like he believes that allowing foreign doctors to treat patients is the introduction of having his country controlled by foreign forces.
