It's a well-known classical piece, so it's not very surprising. Nice melody anyway.

it's a melody from Anton Dvorak's Ninth Symphony "The New World". and this production sucks imo.

I haven't heard this one but Geert Huinink and Alco Lammers (Photon Project) have also done a remix of Dvorak's 9th symphony for their Classical Trance CD.

Maybe the radio rip I got was miss IDed or something but this sounds nothing like the New World to me at all. Perhaps because they butchered it so much but I really do not hear the melody. Dvorak's Ninth is pobobly the classical piece I know the most, I can recognize it from listening to a few bars from any part of it. Which section is this melody from? Maybe I am just too used to hearing the classical version but I really do not hear it at all.

I too hear no resemblence whatsoever...
Have only heard the Solid Globe remix of Yin, which I don't really like. I am however eager to hear an original mix from Robert Nickson.

I believe it's just a resemblance to a phrase from the slow movement. But tbh I don't have this track, I barely heard it on ASOT. I will check out asap.
