Its happened to every one of us...That first tune...That first beat...something about it just made u wanna hear it over and over again...which was the first track that made u a tranceaddict???
for me i wld say robert miles - children set it off...it wasnt necessarily my favorite...i didnt like it that much..just got me thinking about electronica...then came bt flaming june...at least as well as i can remember...i ask this cause a while ago someone told me some tunes by atb in 1999...
tracks that i feel influenced me the most were saltwater-chicane, motion (dave seamen renaissance awakening cd2 track 1), northsky-blackwatch ..
anyone?

this was my first electronic music song i can remember
my mom used to blare it all the time when i was a kid
but
i never knew what the song was tho until about junior year in high school. thats when my good friend (at the time) came back and told me all about electronic music and so forth. he was fresh back from poland and showing me all this electronic music. then i heard children again, and was like woaaaaah this is the track that my mom used to play all the time that i used to dance around too as a little kid. and after hearing all that stuff, i was like. yup, this is the music i'm going to be hooked on

for me it had to be JAMES BROWN IS DEAD... O yea... This overplayed radio hit had me going nuts. It had me so much, that it made me wanna be a DJ. It's not exactly trance, it's techno, but I'm very open minded about my EDM. It was the first single I bough too - which I still own.
