Robert N or Pulser Clap!

Hi! I am sure this has been discussed before, but how can I get the Robert Nickson or Pulser clap? I have been trying for sometime, but it never sounds right. I am a newbie at production, so maybe thats the reason I can not get it

If you have Cooledit, take a clap sample, copy it to the clipboard, and run it through an Echo chamber, then paste the original overtop of the new echoed one and you'll have a pretty decent sounding pulseresque clap.

Hey, yeah, I've been looking for this type of clap as well, although I don't know if you'd call it an actual clap, since it's so distorted. I'll try out what you said, Sean, it sounds promising. =)

Cool

there is a clap sample in the reason factory or orkestra soundbank, cant remeber, rather similar to the airbase/nickson style clap, all u need to do is run a bit of eq over it, then run it through 2-3 compessors with short attack and releases and maybe some reverb depending on the sample and you'll be halfway there. don't copy, create
