to be honest, they should be pretty much the same thing in terms of courses. But, for an employer, they may like it better that it was actualy from the faculty of arts.

I went to York...and have taken some courses through Atkinson too. The only real drawback is that the course selection isn't so great at Atkinson and some of their courses don't fulfill degree requirements for the regular Faculty of Arts at York.

What program are you thinking about? A general arts degree like english, psychology, history, etc...probably won't make much diff to an employer. Now, getting a law degree from Osgood vs. another univerisity with a lesser recognized program...yeah, an employer might see a qualitative difference there
