asking for help on trance parties and record stores

iīm a student in bragnaca with erasmus for 5 months and i could really use any information about trance or progressive parties in lisbon or in porto!does anyone knows any record store in these two cities where i can find any trance vinyls?

i can't help you much cause i live far away from there, but i think you'll have an hard time finding trance vinyls in portugal.. most of the people seem to import them from online stores..

i know that itīs a bit difficult ,iīve been only in lisbon and i went into a record store and the only trance vinyl he had was flight 643.iīm just hoping that there is any small record store somewhere hidden in lisbon or porto

Unfortunately, Portugal is a housish country, so we don't have that much of trance parties in this little corner. Progessive is beggining to be heard in some discos, but it's like trance: events about it are scarce as hell.
About vynils... I don't buy them. I prefer to spend my money on the few trance CD's that are sold around here (mostly from PvD). But there are some good online portuguese stores (or so they say).

to tell you the truth i donīt mind if there are parties with progressive,drum&bass or even gabba hardcore as long as i can hear some electronic music because here in braganca all i can here is papichulo and the same carnabal songs every single night
about the record stores i got the idea so i wonīt bother you any longer

The only parties around here involve progressive, house & psycadelic, and a little bit of techno. We had Oakie here last year, we had Zabiela in last February, and that's the best that has came across this hole. But it seems that we'll have an electronic event regarding the Euro 2004, with names from the 16 countries taking part on it, and it seems that PvD ang Oakie are confirmed (although I have no confirmation on that).
