New melodic track (Eclipse)

Took me about 6 hours today... but i'm rather impressed with it and wanted to share with everyone:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/6/blizzzmusic.htm

Song is called Eclipse, they don't allow direct linking, so i guess you just have to visit the main page.

Any feedback is appreciated!

I like the little rim knock riff there at the very beginning. Overall, a pretty stock intro, but the rim knock riff makes it enjoyable.

I like the preview to the melody at aroun :28. It's especially cool with the volume and filter effects making it seem like it's coming in and out.

I actually don't like that the melody is just sort of the straight synth. I would sound real cool if you'd do something with the filter you were using at the beginning when you get to 3:37. I like the melody itself, I just think it could use some sort of dynamic quality. Right now, it seems kinda like a standard, lower the filter coming in, raise it going out.

I like the ambient outro. It's very nice.

Thumbs up extremely satisfying listening xperience!

I love the arrangement you've got going on here...the break at 4:00ish seems to die quick and stay dead. Dont like that.
Gets good again when the piano comes in....love how it comes back again into a full-tilt audio meltdown at 3:30ish. This song seems a bit harsh in the upper mids and highs...its that filtered string lead synth...could just be the 128kbps restriction too.
Melody is awesome...you've done great with that.

I voted it a FLOP. [just kiddin'...i voted HOT]

edit: crapola..how'd you get so many songs done!??! It takes me months to finish up one!!

Thanks for the feedback, and I definitely agree with everyone you guys have said. After listening to a track for 6 hours straight, i guess anything will sounds good

This is my first cut of the track, and more work will be done to it. I definitely can use some more definition.

But yeah, I've never spent more than 8 hours on a track... perhaps this should be the first I just don't have enough spare time to really dedicate good time to it.

But seriously, i appreciate the feedback, i'll see what i can do with the track

kick sounds weird, but it has punch and can do .

starts good with all that perc.

bass seems cool, i would change the clap sample though, don't really fit, and it seems to loud also.

intro is weird, it goes building up with that synth than at 1.24 it stops, and then after 16 bars? goes building with a new riff, i think you need to smooth out that transition.

cool sounds in the break.

piano sounds nice and clear, but i think to loud not much.
Am anti supersaw unless it's done right . and i don't mean it has to be special, or it yours is wrong, it's just average like all others.

melodie seems ok, fits the mood.

thats all . maybe more FX and small details would help.
