we used to have a "smoking centra" at my highschool...

hm, interesting... people at my school used to smoke behind school. these days everyone does it in the bathrooms


but this "primary / secondary" school thing... dunno, that confused me. there's usually only one school, grades 1 through 11, not like in the US...

Not in Russia, there are "Mladshaya", "Sredneya" and "Starshaya" schools. Sometimes (more often then not) they unify them. But usually it's 1st with 2nd or 2nd with 3rd, rarely all 3 are unified.
