If you are off by a count of four.. the mix will be a little screwey. Unless you are working with an outro consitinning of a simple bassline

ok so i spose none of you do, as i dont usually do it either... but, ive been disecting more and more sets from my cds, and a taucher set that i have, which sounds AMAZING, he does sometimes go off by 4 beats on the intro of the incoming track, which gives it quite a nice 'live' feel, like an additional fill a live band would do... but the additional 4 beats that he makes it off by its like the incoming track stops and does a fill of its own, i dunno. i was just wondering if anyone else has messed around with the idea. thanks for the replies-
