The perfect way to start a CD!

We all know of the famous "Aria-Dido(AVB universal religion mix)" to start off Tiesto-SummerBreeze II (i think).

But recently I made a new mix and started it off with "FILO & PERI - SPECTRUM" and everything just went perfect after that. I would have to say that at this point in time, if there was a competition on the best track to open a CD with, I'de immediately nominate Spectrum.

Just goes to show how people can be complete opposites in terms of taste. I, for one, love every Filo & Peri production with the exception of Spectrum. I hate that track.

The MFA - The Difference it makes. Brilliant track, and Holden was brilliant for using it.

The start to the Paul van Dyk Live @ Home,London 23.4.2000 is AWESOME!

Its tracklisted as being Conductor & Cowboy - Feeling This Way (Solarstone Dub) but having heard the original and a few mixes this sounds very different

I really do like Dido - "Aria (AVB Mix)" - it has everything, angelic vocals, nice melody, nice bass.

I also really like the intro for Noel Sanger's "A State of Altered Consciousness" which is Goldrush - "A1 Angel Mix". Its soooo perfectly progressive and dark, yet melodic.

Yet, to hear a Filo & Peri track I don't like; however, I do have personal favorites and Spectrum is one of them, better than I-95, IMO

i always took aria-dido (avb remix) as a finisher, quite good as last song, nice outro
song is a bit too powerful to open a set in my opinion

envio - touched by the sun (envio's sunrise mix) is a nice song to start with
