I'm not going to put down my system specs because, well frankly, you haven't given me a reason to. I get 2.5 ms latency with my Audigy gamer using the Kx drivers. Good option if getting a new soundcard isn't exactly something you can afford right now, however, if you can, I'd go with the M-Audio Delta 44.

I don't even need a good latency because I don't compose in real time anyway...
Besides, I've got Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro which will suffice...

Athlon XP 1900+ (1,6 ghz)
RME Hammerfall DIGI9652 with AEB-8O analog expansion board
Geforce FX 5600 256mb
100gb Western Digital Caviar
512mb DDR ram @ 233mhz
Windows XP Pro
Evolution MK-249c MIDI keyboard
Cubase SX 2.01 with the most needed vst's
Reason 2.5 (hardly use it nowdays)
if you have the money and wanna go for a really good soundcard then ditch that audigy and buy a RME soundcard (it's expensive but well worth the money)
no M-audio card in the world can compare with the RME's (although delta 1010 is the closest one but still pretty far away)
