I know Synaesthesia notes. The main filtered synth uses 2keys, not single pushes.

Let's get started with the bass note:

G G G G G A# A# A# A# A# D# D# D# D# and so on...

and the main synth:

A A A# A# A# A A A# A# A# A A G G G and so on...
F F F F F F F F F F F F D#D#D# and so on...

that's just the first part, the notes changes later but I think
u get started with these , if not, Ill help with rest...

sorry guys, but you;re a little off in a couple cases.

atb goes...
a a b a c c e d f f g a g a c c d c g.
repeat
of course you need that little riff wheel thing.

synaethesia .. that main thing, right before the first vocal would kick in "i need to.."
of course a# = b flat...

a g a# a# a# a g a# a# a# a a g g g g g g ...

and that part where steve just puts in teh "two notes" ... like in the video... on the keys..
its just
a# g.... a# g, c f, a# g...... .... a#, a#
repeat

this is a cool thread though, i think i'll be as good as anyone helping y'all out though because this is pretty much what i do

i have no idea what's going on in the rocco and heist one tho.. maybe you're doign a different mix?
the piece process main riff goes
a# a g a... c d, c d.... f g, c d.. repeat
and the bassline is pretty much a chord of that.

any others you need? i 'll post flaming june in a sec.

ok flaming june is a bitch cuz its basically thirds and other chords.

but the top synth for the "main chorus" is..

F# F# (<= this means one octave lower) f# e... a a g# e f# b... a b e c#... b a b c# F# (back to the bottom original f sharp. hope you follow me)

thats it.
im too lazy to fill all the rest of hte chords in, as you can see BT really has musical training... its very complex compared to 99% of other trance trax out there.
hehehee.
which is to say, its kinda complex

hope that helps/.

the vocals of synaethesia, which go over the CHORUS synth line (already shown above)
go...

d d, d f, f d, d d#... (im trying to use commas and ... to help w/ beats)
d d, d f, f d, d c a#...

repeat the 2 lines.

then when she starts tearing into "when i give emotion.."
c a# f, a# c d.. c a# f, g d c.. a# c a# f.. d f.. g d c....

here are the lyrics, each syllable to a note.
"when-i-give, em-o-tion.. will-you-show, de-vo-tion.. or-will-you-fly.. and-fly.. a-wa-ay...

thats the whole song

dude, yours are FINE
except for like 2 notes.

look carefully at the diff between yours and mine, its not much.

most ppl wont notice the diff.

but what im saying is e.g.
the SECOND NOTE of the sample (and of our written patterns)

is a g, not an a.

nitpicking, but im telling you...

nice sample tho
you use reason?

LOL, okay . I never have checked the song that carefully. I was thinking of remixing synaesthesia like year ago and tried to play it just like in my notes, sounded good enough though . And nope, Im not using Reason.
