I've been slaving away at this song bit by bit for some time now and finally I've got something I'm happy with. I think its a big improvement from my last two songs Woman's Touch and Drum N Bass.
Lets just call its genre trance at the moment and you can decide whate sub-genre it is, I always have trouble with labelling my own songs.
It was produced using Reason 1.0 and as usual, the mp3 file doesn't sound anywhere near to the quality of what it sounds like in Reason but it gives you a good idea. Thanks for listening, this ones been making me dance around the room. Still amatuer but I'm having the time of my life with it! Any comments would be appreciated!!!
The files about 6.5mb and the song is around 7mins long. Its on my Bigpond webspace and I think they limit the amount that can be leeched from your ftp daily so if it doesn't work, sorry, try again later.

Not bad. Kinda reminds me of Tim Schuldt, but with old skool rave influences .
Just so you know, there was a psytrance project back in the day called DNA, so that might cause some confusion for people somewhere down the line.

While you tunes don’t sound a “professional” as many of the other producers in the amateur forum, you’ve really got some really good ideas flowing, and I’ve quite enjoyed your offerings so far, this included. Cool atmosphere and wicked breakdowns. I think you need to work on your sound quality though! Some crystal clear sounds are desperately needed.

hey if you want I know a place that has unlimited downloads per day. When people download your stuff they don't have to register(like stupid soundclick)and you can link it to forums pretty easily. Now I bet your wondering where is this magical site and how much does it cost.Thats the beatufull part actually. Its dance industries <---(click here) and the price is zero dollars.
I woulda gave your song a go except it was past its limit like you were describing.I love darktrance and do a style similar but faster called dark freeform. If I come back tommorow and its up I will give er a shot ok man.

Thanks heaps for the input Spin Doctor!
About the sound quality, unfortunately all I've got is Reason 1.0. Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on Cubase to master the song in but one day I'll save up for ProTools and run reason into it. I'm not sure how I could get a better sound quality coming out of Reason, any tips? I'm sure the compression to MP3 made the quality suffer a little as well.
(sorry if anyone tries to download the track again, I had to take it down to make way for my other track)
