Andreas Krämer appreciation thread.
Don't know how many of you know about Andreas Krämer & Thomas Pogadl aka. Russenmafia, Phuture Punk, Aquaplex, Schwarze Puppen, Solid Sleep, Blade Attack, Three Kings, S.O.D, Junk Project etc etc etc
Though he/they are eventually starting to get some recognition, I strongly feel they are under-appreciated.
The hundreds of productions they're behind are so tightly produced, featuring a minimalistic and driving trance sound that is totally unique. Besides they've had a bucketload of chart busters and are represented on practically every important german/swiss trance compilation release.
It might be the endless number of pseudonyms or Andreas Krämer's main focus on techno that hasn't yet granted him a reputation like Scot Project.
To me he definitely matches Scot's top notch productions.
I know alot of you are familiar with production and for those of you who know this guys sound, it takes alot of skill, creating such a phat expression of such a minimal soundscape. Especially when dealing with trance. Apart from inventing a few of the most dancefloor efficient club/hardtrance basslines in history, he has an amazing way of placing percussion in his tracks. Everything is just so precisely laid out.
I sure hope he will get the credit he deserves. After all he's behind a ton of projects on the huge harder edge trademark labels, such as Overdose/Pulse or the Drizzly Network.
Would love to hear some response to this.
This guy's a genious.
