Okay, it might be obvious but are they grounded properly? Is everything plugged into the same strip?

does the buzz go when u turn the decks on? thats what happens to mine but obviously im not worried as the buzz aint on when im playing...

the things to check when you get a buzz are generally:

1) grounding
2) electrical supply
3) grounding
4) carts (if they are old and beaten)

if you have just replaced carts, it'll be worth taking them off and making sure there isnt any fluff or anything in the socket on the tonearm.

IF all your grounding is connected, it should be gone.
IF your mixer's ground plug that goes into the wall jack is not there, you're fuk'd.
IF you mixer's ground plug that goes into the wall jack is there, then your wall jack may not be properly grounded.
IF your amps or speakers are not grounded, you'll get that hum sound.
Most amps tend to cause a small hum when maxed on their volume output. The answer is to lower the amp's power and turn up your mixer's main out to compensate.
