First of all, Blue mountain sucks, the runs are too short and easy... lol

I found it to be really slow, even for prog...

Bass sounds good, interesting synths. Very chill, I like.

I guess, I have a slight beef with it, I just feel like the melody doesn't really have a direction and although it is supposed to be constantly evolving. Not a bad melody but just not something that will really set your tune apart.

I also think for a lot of your percussion you could try adding some delays to make it sound a lot more intersting.

IMO, the track is not deep enough or not melodic enough... It kinda feels like it is sitting in the middle of the fence and isn't really either, but then again, I probably don't know what i'm really talking about lol

Good job, very proggy

you have to realize, its not a mountain... its a glorified hill!

now, slow in what way? BPM or progression?

point taken. I will try experimenting with melodic aspects... but I like the techy edge of the track.

I try to avoid delays on the percussion whenever I can, because it can really muddy up the mid-high frequencies. But, I will experiment.

like I said, I want this track to be more techy than melodic (maybe its some weird progressive tech hybrid?)

Very oldschool. I like it. Bass / kick.. Well the whole mix is muddy. Try tweeking alot of things a bit.

Melody is pretty wicked. Really like the main pads.

The muddyness makes it sound dated for sure. Keep tweeking this one and It'll come out nice.

I'll try pitching it up a bit... or...

this track might get a remix under my 'LeMay' alias and it will be a little faster and tracy-er...

thanks again for the exposure in your demo mix

-I don't like the bassdrum
-The organ starts to fast and need more reverb
-First break is nice melody sounds like the Gabriel & Dresden remix of Hello
-The break is way to long
-I don't like the synth on 3:58 it's to simple

Nice track but it's a mess, try to make the buildup longer and the break shorter.

i really like this track, doesn't try to conform to the standard sequence layout that most tracks stick to.

i also like the oldschool unmastered type of sound, it's really chill.

i'd def keep this as an original, but a remix would also be cool.

Interesting track. It has a nice feel in the middle with the Pads. I like the bass which comes in just before the 4 minute mark. Seems more like a bass you would find in a house track but it works well here. The arrangement of the song is unusual, doesn't follow any sort of pattern, almost random at times. Got a bit repetitive towards the end, it didn't offer me anything which I hadn't already heard earlier in the track.

Hey Matt! Hope all is going well these days.

I really dig this tune a lot.

The bass adds a lot of sexy funk, and the beat is rolling in a nice soothing way.

I appreciate that this song doesn't follow standard formulas.

Very chilled and cool! I'm lookin forward to your future productions in this style.

Take care
Trevor
