Question Migrating Media License

hey guys,

i just bought a new computer and transferred over some files from the old pc and apparently some were copyrighted so now i'm getting
the following error message regarding migrated licenses:

"This content has been shared by multiple users on multiple machines and cannot proceed with further migration"

any way around this?

As Far as i know there is a way to back up licences on your original computer so in theory you can copy these licences to a floppy or whatever and go to your new computer and load up the licences to windows media player. Its all good in theory but i vaguely remember trying it before and it didnt work.

It was after a similar problem like yours that i quit backing my cd's up as wma files. Theyre basically restricted to use on one comp, so i suppose it makes sense in helping combat piracy.

Well let me know how it works out anyway.
