Delerium - Silence (Woodward Remix)

This track has been remixed a million times and you've probably heard enough versions already but I'd be very appreciative of any feedback.

192kbps

Damn it was slow download..

I think the bass plays one octave too high. or atleast there are some nasty high frequencies in it..

After the breakdown it feels like the master volume is way too high as everything seems to clip.. (Though this might be my crappy headphones, but on the other hand it doesn't clip in before the break)

IMHO the vocals sound awful.. You sure they're are Sarah's..

I'll look at the bass, I'm waiting for Creative to send me a new volume control so I can use my Inspire 6.1 speakers again but at the moment I'm using shitty PC standard ones so with the bass i'm just sorta guessing.

I'll look at the clipping, though it doesn't tell me that it's clipping in Fruity, but i'll take it down a touch anyway if you think it's too high.

I don't think the vocals are Sarah's but I don't think an acapella of hers exists for this song? Or I've never seen it.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the speed of the download though, maybe I should have just exported it as a 124kbps mp3, it doesn't sound much worse.

Thanks for your feedback Thunder.

No positives?

Of course there is... Those just were the things that came to me at the first listen cause they were so present...

The atmosphere in the beginning of the track (till the end of breakdown) is just amazing... Wish you had the kept the same atmosphere till the end...

The overall is good, the sounds is nice! Maybe there is something in the melody that's missing. A tone, that fits whit the vocals. I don't say this is bad! But maybe u could put a extra tone in the melody!

Just a *teeny weeny* thing, the groups name is ''Delerium''

The accapella that's floating around on various p2p networks isn't genuine no... it's been resung by someone else. I thought they sounded fine though in honesty...

I got it from an acapella DVD which I bought from a website called www.fellers.co.uk but it's probably the same acapella as on the p2p networks. It's not as good as Sarah but I think it sounds alright.

I like beginning of this track too, good atmosphere, good synths (especially at beginning - nice)!
I think that you can add one more bassline and more percussions (and more mastering after the middle of your track ).
Vocals at some moments sounds very "light" according to overall atmosphere of this track.
Sarah's vocals are defenitelly better
And that sweeping sounds adds very "cheesy" atmosphere in the middle
Overall is good.
