Invisible Grin Conservatives Narrowing Liberal Lead

NOTE: Thread whiners, we've heard your whineing already... please stick to the topic here.

So it seems that the Conservatives are gaining ground in the whole country and especially in Ontario. You have to wonder if Mcguinty is partly responsible for this. I wouldnt be surprised to see the Conservatives win at this point to be honest.

Looks like the NDP are self-destructing too. Layton's comments about Martin causing deaths, plus his vow to repeal the Clarity Act, are sinking him.

I just want the Lieberals out!!!

Who is there left to vote for?
Many are upset with Liberals (but wanna bet if Jean were still around, they would win?) Others are scared of the conservatives (me) and well..I just dont trust the NDP

what should I do, vote green?(quite likely)

I bet liberals get 8 seats or less from Manitoba to the Coast...

Crazed: ideally yes but in today's Canada under the liberals expecially, backbencher MPs have virtually no say. So essentially, we have to vote for party and not cadidate unless our local candidate happens to become a cabinet minister.

you hit it right on the head there...people are upset that the Liberals have fucked up...but I still don't think it's enough to put the Conservatives in power. Layton is a complete jackass for making those comments...shooting himself in the foot.

I think the backbenchers have no say primarily because of the majority gov't...even with a few dissenting voices, they can push through whatever they want and the dissenters will be pushed even further away from having any real power...in a minority gov't, those backbenchers suddenly become a bit more important though, no?

we're headed for a Liberal minority, no question in my mind...and Jayx1, yeah, McGuinty defnitely has something to do with the Conservatives gaining in the Ontario polls...again, no question in my mind. Unfortunately many people don't realize that they have little to do with each other, in fact isn't this the first time in quite a while that we've had both a provincial and federal Liberal party in power?

Either way you slice it, the Liberals have to be punished for their lies, arrogance and corruption. If stealing billions of dollars isnt grounds for an election loss then God save our country.

sure its grounds for a loss, but I dont feel any more comfortable putting harper or layton in charge

sadly, I think a minority liberal govt is what is best.
ntohing will get done, but we can live and sort shit out until a real contender comes along.

There are a ton of parties out there that I have never even heard of before. Probably because none of them have enough money to be heard. I wish I could vote for the BLOC just to scare the living crap out of the liberals... I WANT TO SEPARATE!

Other interesting voting options include the Marxist-Leninist Party and the Communists. Although, it might be more interesting if everyone voted in an independant and there was not majority party at all

The point is, the Fiberals have been governing by default for far too long. It's time for them to go.

And for many of them, they should go to jail (mass corruption).
