Can you connect a guitar amp and speakers to your mixer.

Here is a deal. I have a guitar amp + speaker I believe its a bass speaker. Is there a possibillity to connect this to a mixer, because right now I cant afford a huge sound system.
Is there any kind of cable that can do it?
