Bling's Review of Migs and the Delano
There is something special..... something magical per se about a pool party on south beach. Perhaps, it is a combination of the incredible locale, gorgeous women, incredible food... I do not know. What I do know is that parties and events like JoeBudicious' event tonite is what makes South Beach the mecca of nitelife that it is.
As I walked in through the doors of the Delano and walked into the lobby i was truly taken aback. The wooden walls the very nice restaruant right outside the back doors, the increcible pool adorned on the sides by palm trees. It truly is a high class environment.
It was around 8 pm, and on the decks was the host of the party... soulful house rang throughout the pool area, infusing those around with a little bit of "dance fever". I bump into Sheldon as well as Lyrik. It was indeed stifling hot though, and Lyrik decided to head out to the Whitelaw, but not before telling me i was in for a treat with Miguel Migs.
Speaking of Miguel Migs, I was able to speak to him for a short while. Very tall in stature, he does not really have that DJ look but rather someone from a rock band. Very nice guy.
Around 10 he took the decks. I was able to enjoy this wonderful evening with some very cool CP people. Liz, IMIntellectual, Miriam, Dan (macboy) and Carlos (happy birthday once again). It was also great to see. Matik and his lovely girlfriend, as well as tony (thanks for the cd), Danny (digital7), Renzo, Buster and his camera crew...etc
Miguel Migs was absolotely amazing. truly a treat for the senses. He was all I expected and then some. He threw down some sexy latin tracks, a track that Frankie Knuckles played at Nerve, some real nice tribal. It was just amazing. true house music. My favorite kind of house. Everyone was having a great time. I was dancing like crazy
The evening was humid but the party was even hotter. Beautiful women everywhere. Hands down the hottest girls I have seen at any event.
Carlos even told me. "Everyone here is probably a model" . Ironic words because not 10 min later I see a model that my company had hired for one of our trade shows. So when our little group broke off I went up to her and started to talk for a bit. She remembered me.. She looked incredible as always. Blonde shoulder length curly hair, small mini skirt dress, long sexy legs. WOW!!!!
I want to thank Dan for being such a MENCH!! and buying that water for me. Macboy is as genuine as they come..
Around 12am Joe comes on and says the party will go on till 2am much to the delight of everyone in attendance. At around 1 Miguel got off the decks. I didnt even realize it because we were talkin off in the distance. But i remmber i said to eveyrone "wow the music kinda dropped a few notches, its not as good." I was shocked had Miguel Migs disappointed me? Not that the music was bad but not Migs quality. Then I look 10 min later to see that Migs was no longer spinning . LMAO !!!!! (no wonder)
Around 130 myelf, carlos, IMintellectual and Miriam go to the pool area and sit atop a bed thingy that they have scattered throughout the pool area.
The pool is amazing, they had in the shallow end. A table inside the pool with a candelabra sitting atop. Very romantic...... After the ladies excused themselves, Carlos and Imintellectual start to mess around with a gigantic size chess board. When I left they were about to go play some pool inside, where.... YES u guessed it, more insanly beautiful women
Incredible party Joe. best party i have been to not just this year but for as long as I remember. If only they had hotel pool parties like this every week . I would live at these events. I will def make it out to Marquees Wyatt at State on the 26th of June.
