Most of the remixes she gets are because both she and the remixers are affiliated with Nettwerk Records/Management.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. i think she enjoys dance music, so likes her stuff to get remixed, i could be wrong. Her style seems to fit well, may as well do it if it works.

Mostly it's the label thing. I think she might also like dance music a little bit. I know she hated Tiësto's remix of Silence until she saw the crowd reaction to it.

It is just not her label, she knows that the remixes increase her bank account and b)gives her new fame in different genres and c)increase her original album sales and d)Nettwerk ain't stupid. She is smart, not bad for a 35 year old Canadian.

another question , do artists have the right to refuse a certain remix to be released because lets say they do not like the way it was remixed?
