We were gung ho at first to go Mykonos but after a couple of weeks of discussions we have decided to go to Ibiza for our first trip to Europe

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hotels that you recommend? Whether it be expensive or budget. We're looking to go sometime in August...recommend any week during that mont? Parties that we cannot miss?

I definitely need help in planning this so would appreciate any info you guys can...be it small or big

Will im 16 so its pointless for me to go cause i cant go out.

But one of my mates brothers went thre like 2 years ago and he told me that everything is really expensive because there are som many clubs and its become a tourist attraction for young people sooo, unless you got a few 1000 spare just for accomidation and partiea and shit like that, it might not be such a goods place to go, despite the insanely good raves they got.

We realize its gonna be a lot of money. We expect it to be at least around $3000 each for everything. That won't deter us though as we feel we have to experience it at least once in our lives. Mykonos wasn't gonna be any cheaper.

the whole ibiza scene is dying year by year,ive been to ibiza 3 times,in 99,00,03 and the vibe there this year wasnt the same as in 1999 or 2000,it just didnt feel right

That's not what I want to hear lol. A friend of mine went I think two years ago and felt it wasn't all that. But then I have other friends that can't wait to go back. You wouldn't say that people should go at least once?? I think any place you go multiple times to you will end up losing interest in.

when your actaully over there in Space at 8am on sunday morning on the terrace listening to euphoic house house with the soundest ppl ever and everyone just having a buzz it makes u want to burn your passport and live there

I was this last september (great experience an unforgettable trip)
Well first you have to choose between Ibiza city or San Antonio (We went in San Antonio). In San Antonio the ppl is mainly british and younger, in here there is a street called West End plenty of bars, pubs... where you can drink before enter in the clubs. In Ibiza city the ppl is older and principally the ppl is german, italian and spanish. Also in Ibiza you see gays and in S.A. no, however more fights in S.A. than in Ibiza. But if you don't want fights you don't have problems.
About the dates no problem, every day from middle of june to end of september is party in the island. August is the month with more ppl on the island (for me excessively ppl in the clubs, buses...)
- The famous clubs:
in Ibiza City ---> Pacha, El Divino and Space (after-hour)
in San Antonio ---> Es Paradis and Eden
In the middle of the Ibiza and San Antonio road (only 14 Km of lenght) ---> Amnesia and Privilege
Every day of the week every club has a different party and is the same all the summer. So one club has 7 parties; with different music, different decoration... For example @ Amnesia this last summer on thursdays was Cream party with Tiesto, PvD, Oakie...(don't miss) and on Monday Cocoon Club with Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin...
The prices are expensive at night (club tickets, drinks, taxis, drugs...) but you spend for party, for your satisfaction.
About hotels choose one not more far away of ibiza city or San Antonio. We went at Piscis Park hotel in the center of S.A. for sleep is good but the food sucks! however the situation of this hotel is very good.

yeh the belearic scene has nearly died off.the best time to go is the first 2 weeks in september for the closing parties.be prepared to pay 50-70 euros in to the clubs tho and 10 euro for a bottle of water.

ibiza's time has been and gone IMO

greece is taking over unfortunatley cuz its wayyyy cheaper.

why not go on a clubbing weekend to holland in june? ie:sensation!
