that's closed now.

Reflex Records is just down the road from Vinyl Exchange too (located at 64 Oldham St).

Factory Records (53 Church St) is about 100 yards from Vinyl Exchange and always has some quality 2nd hand bits in - www.facoff.com

Spin Inn (22 Tib Street) is just around the corner from Factory and usually has some upfront stuff in ... lots of it tends to be on the slightly harder side though.

Vinyl Exchange and Factory are essential visits.

London:

Abovethesky.com is a store mostly for online shopping but I would imagine if you gave them a heads up they would allow you to come in and check it out. They got tons of new stuff as well as some upfront promos! It is ran by Tony Burt himself!

Directions: Take the district line to Chancery Lane go up the stairs and ask someone where hatton wall is and it will be right before your eyes! Good Luck!

I just went and I found two shops around London: banging tunes, which didn't have that good of a selection imo, and Mad, which is in Soho and was fucking great, I'd highly recommend them. Slightly made up for me not being able to make it out to Bristol to see Chem on my trip

Also maybe go to the HMV or Virgin and ask some people shopping for records, that's how I found out about banging tunes, maybe you'll run into someone who knows better ones...
