PhatBeat Records.

9108 W. National Ave.

and

Atomic Records

I prefer PhatBeats, just because I know Bzar and YT over there. They pretty much order anything you'll ever need if they don't have it.

Damn...Milwaukee has more record stores than chicago. To think that chicago has one PROMINENT record store (Gramaphone).

They usually have a pretty good trance selection at their Schaumburg location, I've never been to the other one. And yeah, gramaphone is pretty good too.

Don't forget about Revolutions...on Farwell Ave. across from the Oriental Theatre. It's in the back room of the clothing store "Moxy." They get record shipments in every week on Wednesdays. They specialize in house, but they also carry trance, d&b, techno, and some hip hop. I go there more than I go to Trounce (I spin trance), just because I know that they get shit in on Wednesdays. Trounce is so random with their shipments, so I would almost ALWAYS call them before you make the trip, because you can ask if they have got anything new in. Hope that helps ya.
