hmm...

it could be a trojan. try using a proggy called adaware (www.lavasoft.de) to scan your HD.

it could also be that your PC is getting too hot. most newer comps have a kind of "auto restart" function to protect your CPU from burning out. tho it usually just restarts, not shutting off.

maybe check your CPU's temperature in the BIOS after turning it on for 15-20 minutes. anything above 65-70 degrees is pushing it.

could also be a blown capacitor on your motherboard. it happened to a mate.

or your power suply could be faulty/not powerfull enough.

or could be a hard drive error. if you hear a clicky noise before it goes off its likely your hard drive.

well, all i know is that it shuts off just like that. at first its ok, but after my pc runs for like 30 min it then shuts off. then i'll restart, and then again after like 5 min it shuts off.

PSU could be shitting out too though, I've heard about this happening when the PSU is going bad or you're using too small of a PSU for all of your components.

sounds to me like it could be overheating too but if you're worried about the possibility of spyware then get "Spybot: Search & Destroy 1.3" its great spyware removal software and its free
you can get it at www.download.com just search for "spybot"

and if you're worried about trojans & viruses you can do a free online scan at www.ravantivirus.com/scan then click "continue without subscribing"
