Resonate 4

Another double CD of hard trance tunes from Tidy. Personally I can't wait, it's been too long since the last decent hard trance compilation, and the Resonate's are generally good.

Disc: 1
1. Matt Darey – Nocturnal Delight
2. Malte & Marc de Clarq pres. - No More Rain (Shane 54 Remix)
3. Redmark – Zygota
4. G & M Project – Sunday Afternoon
5. Mat Silver & Tony Burt – Ultimate Wave (Alphazone Remix)
6. Rob Tissera, Vinylgroover & The Redhead – Stay – (Lee Haslam Remix)
7. Sam Sharp – Twister (Ron van den Beuken Remix)
8. Alphazone – Revelations
9. SJ & Baby Doc – What You Do To Me Baby (Paul Maddox Remix)
10. Lee Haslam – Liberate
11. Cosmic Culture – Time Of Your Life (OHM Boys Remix)
12. Matar – Feelin (Guyver Remix)
13. Stargate – Break The Silence
14. Dark By Design – Millenium Bitch (Lee Haslam Remix)
15. Nick Rowland – Somebody
16. Yoda Inc – Definitley (Lee Haslam Remix)

Disc: 2
1. Club Caviar – I Wish
2. Cheap Emotions – Battle Star Galaxia
3. Ralph Novell – Wrong Love (Alphazone Remix)
4. Ron van den Beuken – Timeless
5. Steve Hill – Alone
6. Stimulant DJ's – 2 Da Rhythm (Lee Haslam Remix)
7. Enermatic – Mastermind
8. Nick Sentience – Essence
9. Euphony – Carte Blanche
10. Steve Blake – Expression (Lee Pasch Remix)
11. Alphazone Pres Ceylon – Immortal (Alphazone Remix)
12. Phil Reynolds & The Coalition – World Of Doubt
13. Barely Legal – The Future (Guyver Remix)
14. “Billy” Daniel Bunter & The A Project – Can't Wait (Lee Haslam Remix)
15. Lee Haslam – Here Comes The Pain (Euphony Remix)

I just picked this up and I gotta say it is quite good. It's a nice mix of UK Hard trance and the like. Very energetic. Mixing is pretty good considering the track selection IMO.

I like this too because most of my friends around here are into Hard House type music, so if I ever put on trance they freak. But the hard trance/style is like common ground where we both can enjoy.

I would rate this album 8.5/10

Cd 1 is slightly better than 2.

Now that's an awesome compilation. I remember buying that, way back before I knew what hard trance was, and just layed on my bed for the full 2 and half hours with the tunes banging. Good times...

As for the Resonate CD, looks great. Cant say I've ever bought one though, but I might just have to get this one. Especially after the abysmal performance by Anne Savage that created Frantic Euphoria. Jesus people, dont buy that CD.

UK hard trance & Tidy hard trance tend to be different, difference being that most tidy hard trance is shit, much like the album looks. Frantic euphoria wasnt too bad, tho she put some shit tunes on her CD n the classics cd had bouncy HH on (which is horrible), not got round to hearing the 3rd cd properly yet as i couldnt stand hardstyle but from what iv heard its not too bad.

Well, I guess the third CD is the better of the three, but it still isn't half as good as the Extreme Euphoria's that Lashes has done. There must be about 5 good tunes on the whole of the compilation. Not worth £16 if you ask me.

thats why i only paid £13 for mine (when it gets here that is) :P

you probably only think a few tracks are good cos the extreme euphorias (bar the cd3 of the last one) were more proper HH. a few on the "classics" CD really shouldnt be on n theres a few on the first cd that are pants although 5 outa the last 6 on CD1 are all good (that remix of li kwan is wicked!). but theres alot more then 5 good tracks on the 3cds. they need to get some proper DJs on these albums thought cos if they do another like this it'll be taking the piss.

I've seen Anne Savage live before, and she played far better tunes than whats on the CD. But yeah, I guess I was expecting more Hard House/Trance. Oh well.
