You wouldnt if it were affecting or could potentially affect your paycheque.

So i spoke with this lobbyist today who wrote down all my points. She is an RN who is working with youth to deal with the concerns about tobacco. She is going to address them to the health minister tomorrow and recommend forming a committee of entertainment industry workers so that our voice can be heard. We would want a whole cross section of those in the industry that are for or against.

I agree with no smoking in principle and in most public places. But i draw the line at entertainment facilities designed for ADULTS over 19 who are capable of making their own choices.

In a perfect world people would just stop smoking and it wouldnt be a big deal. Sadly its not so simple.

You are right, it is your choice to go wherever you want. But certain places have certain conditions. Whats next? Somebody thinks that loud noise is detremental to their hearing but because they "have the right to go everywhere" the sound should be turned down or off?

You have the right whether you wish to enter a smoking establisment or not. Its your choice. If you feel so strongly about it, allow smoking in clubs that want it and open a non smoking club which will give people choice.

Thanks to shortsightedness there is going to be a lot of unemployment thanks to this law.
