lotsa good games for xbox. games i recommend off the top of my head:

ninja gaiden
metal arms: glitch in the system
chronicles of riddick: escape from butcher bay
madden 2004
crimon skies: high road to revenge
mechassault
halo
metal gear solid 2: substance (if you haven't played it for ps2, get it)
i-ninja
star wars: knights of the old republic
james bond 007: everything or nothing
splinter cell: pandora tomorrow
prince of persia: sands of time
ssx 3

each and everyone of these titles should have a permanent place in any xbox library. they are in mine those should keep you busy for quite some time.

I'm not even an XBox fan and I know that Microsoft will not be naming their next system "XBox 2". They feel that if they named it XBox 2 it would sound inferior to the the PS3 because it is one less in numerical order.

The next Microsoft system will most likely release before the next Sony and Nintendo consoles also.
