Re: hooking up tt's with computer???
Picture 1) Ok on the first picture u got a RCA to Line-in Adapter, which you can buy at Radio Shack ( the darker side of the picture ). I am assuming you have mixer along with your decks, so the RCA cable on the lighter side of the picture will go to your mixer's "Record" Jack. I only plug in one RCA head into the adapter because it only allows you to plug one in.
Picture 2) Now that you have your adapter connected to the mixer, you must plug in the other side of the cable to the line-in jack of your computer... that is what it looks like in the 2nd picture. Once you have done this, go to your audio settings or your volume control and make sure your Line-in Channel is not on 'mute' if it is unmute it by clicking the 'check' in the box, and move the volume slider of the channel to your taste. Just don't put it TOO loud, because then your recording will sound like shit.
Grab any type of recording program (the simplest also) to Record your mixing (Soundforge, Adobe Audition, and etc.) It might not sound 'top' notch, so what you will have to do, if you want, is master your mix. I personally use Adobe Audition, but any type of audio editing program such as "audition" will do. And that is another story...
Hope that helped, and I'm sure there are other ways to hook up your equipment to your pc, but is just my method.
bye,
