NO, nistelrooy's goal should have been counted. the red was out of his mind. he gave ronaldo a damn yellow card for taking off his shirt.

Actually it was offside. Eventho I'm Dutch and I would've loved to see the Oranges win the match, Portugal was definately the better team.
A shame, yes, but nothing to be ashamed of

Why does every game that PT plays must have a disallowed (and controversial - ??) goal...? At least let's hope that this won't end up in a 10-page topic about whether van Nistelrooy was offside or not.
(oh, and BTW: we control the ref's minds, and make them do crazy things. We are witches )

I didn't think he was offside personally... however I may have looked at the screen too late, wasn't sure exactly when the crucial pass was made. Either way I don't think you can hold it as responsible for Holland's defeat as much as England's disallowed goal IMHO since it was early on and anything could've changed from there.
Jorge andrade's own goal was fantastic though, goal of the tournament

Ruud was offside, and although I wanted Holland to win, noone deserved that decision more than him. His standing foot was closer to goal than the defender on the other side of the D, a tight call but a correct one from the linesman.
Van Nistelrooy has scored plenty goals by exploiting the stupid new offside interpretations and intentionally waiting in an offside position, hoping to get the benefit of the doubt from the linesman.
I'm sick of his "ooo am I/aren't I?" nonsense, this time horseface was offside.

I didn't laugh too much when that happen, in that instant... tomorrow, I'll shit my pants with laughter on the whole play.

Andrade's goal was great. Kept his composure in front of goal and showed amazing technique to flick it over the keeper from that close, Ricardo had no chance.
It may have been an own goal but I bet he'll be quite proud of that one.

Comedy moment for me was Davids on the post for Ronaldo's goal, he just looked like he couldn't be bothered. One hand leaning on the post the other on his hip then a lame flaling leg poked at the ball, classic!
