I have neither a Xone 62 nor a DJM600, but I have the Xone32.

I think the Cue system is the same for the Xones, but Im not exactly sure.

My buddy has the Vestax PMC05-promk2 and I have a American DJ Q2422. I would use his at his house and mines at my house. I was more used to cueing useing a cue-fader(Vestax), as that is what I used when I used to do dj regularly and do shows. Transitioning from Vestax to American DJ was not that big a deal.

When I had transitioned to the Xone 32 and cue'd records up/beatmatched, I do remember that it was slightly more difficult to beat match. I was really used to hearing both channels in both earphones really loud.

It wasn't extremely difficult to make the transition to the new mixer, but an adjustment period of about 1 week did occur.

I am totally comfortable with the Xone 32 cue system now. When I go back to my friends house to mix on his rig, I try to emulate the volume and cueing conditions that my Xone 32 gives me in my earphones.

From adjusting to the cue system on the Xone 32 , my ears don't tire as fast and I can mix for a longer period of time.

On the Xone 32, I can hear EQ changes when my cue selector is set to the middle between CUE and MASTER. When I DJ, I pretty much keep the CUE selector set to the middle.

It used to be hard for me to use a mixer that has a different CUE system than the vestax, but ever since I learned the Xone 32, its far easier for me to adjust to mixers that I haven't used before.

see i know the post ur talking about, and im just about set on a xone 92, and i kinda dismissed the post cuz the guy was talkin about the 62 cuz its not quite the 92, but now ur saying practically the same thing... could a djm600 really be a better mixer than a xone 62 or 92? wats even weirder about that post pissin on the xone 62 compared to the djm600 is that theres no one defending the xone 62 in that post, and i know that guy dj jade who posts alot has one (i saw his set up pic, real nice)

My friend is gonna be kind enough to lend me a 600 and i will tell u in a week what i come up with...as far as 92 vs 600.

he has also just got a 92 and he doesn't see any difference in the cueing.....but its been only one day....we'll see

i'm a mixer freak as it is....at this point i almost owned them all...except for the 600 so i have to try now....quite honestly i hink the 92 is overrated and i own one.(i had both the knob and the slide)

that was my original post. I've had my Pioneer 600 since the day after posting that, and I am 100% happy with it. Honestly, I think that a lot of people like to bandwagon when it comes to DJ equipment...eithet sweating the hell out of a mixer because of the name of it, or not buying a TT because its not made by Technics. I knew I wasn't going crazy about the headphone output quality because I had two friends come to the same conclusion about it...and obviously some of you guys have had similar experiences.
IDK, if you're thinking about buying a new mixer, I'd really search around and try mixers out before buying the one with the 'best' name. A lot of people seem to have issues with Pioneer mixers...I can't complain about mine in the slightest.

do u think the problems with hearing u had on the cueing was cuz of how the eq knobs only go up to +6? Oh and trinity i was lookin around and i saw u talking in a post about how u got rid of a djm 3000 after a couple of weeks and im pretty sure thats the same as the 600 only with certain differences here and there.... As for zizack I deffinitely agree with ur whole bandwagon theory.... maybe i should go empath after all

i think the cueing issue is , just my opinion, that the addition low mid eq may make the kick a lil 'muddled' thus less clear to hear...just my theory....

yeah i had a 3000....i heard the 600 has better sound quality and may be built a lil better..who knows thou..what i have learned over the years is u have to try it for your self....i'll try it then i'll know
