Why can't I? If a DJ as great as Paul Van Dyk really does live up to his title as one of the worlds greatest internetional DJ's & Producer's then he should be equally good at DJing as he is at producing in the studio.

The reason you cant compare artist albums and compilations is the following.
Compilations are usually made to consist of the best tracks out at the time the compilation is made. Therefore, works from many different artists are chosen and put into the compilation. Artist albums on the other hand are works of a single producer and every track on the album is made by them. Therefore, comparing all original work from a single artist to works from various artists that are on a compilation is just stupid.

i voted for other cos I think Markus Schulz - Coldharbour Sessions is the best album but there are so much others, it also can be IMO tiesto - Just Be, AvB - BoI etc.
