Finally he updated his diary entry, here's what he had to say:

Diary
June 15, 2004

Dear visitor,

I'm home again after a very hectic weekend. I stopped in four countries in four days where I was never before. Godskitchen invited me for a tour through South-America.

After a short stop in Buenos Aires I travelled to Santiago Chili. The party I played was at a castle on a hill in the middle of the city. This was the exact same place where the city was founded hunderds of years ago. Normally this place was not open for general parties and it was the first party for the public. I DJ-ed as long as I could. I simply couldn't stop. The crowd was so nice and the people were going crazy at the dancefloor. I was trying to realize that I was playing in Chili, on the other side of the world! It was yet another amazing experience and I truly felt the warmth of the people and the fact that people are really open for trance and progressive music. Chili is now one of my favorite places and I really want to go back there as soon as possible.

Next stop was Lima in Peru. I didn't know anything about the country but people warned me that it wasn't as rich as Chili. It was totally different but very nice as well. I was really excited to be there, and I played at a open air party for 3000+ people outside a huge soccer stadium in the middle of the city. People were already going crazy at the opening DJ who played more progressive music. There was something magical about this party. It was more like a Rave but at a very exotic location. I experienced that the people were much more like the partypeople in Europe than I thought! The whole crowd jumped in the air and the production of the party was amazing!

On my last stop I played at Anzu Club, 90 minutes away from Sao Paolo in Brazil. A lot of people drove all the way from Sao Paolo to come to the party. The clubbed was packed and the atmosphere was eclectic. People already told me I was going to love Brazil. I was surprised to see a lot of people with my cd's and vinyls. I played for more than three hours and I loved it! If you're ever in Brazil go and check this place out! It's great!

It's always nice to see that trance music connects all the people of the world. It's truly something that makes me want to travel even more even though I've had enough of planes and airlines lounges. I'm very thankful to the people in South-America for their reception. I hope I can be back very soon (and to everyone in Buenos Aires: sorry I couldn't make it this time. See you soon!)

It's time for the summer now in Europe. I can't wait to start my residency at Amnesia. It's a dream coming true.

take care x,

Armin
