Ste, Pako, Fredrick - Magic Shop(Voyager remix)

Anybody heard of this song?
I picked it up at the shop today, and I thinking that it might be recent, looked it up on discogs to find out that it's old...4 years old.
Kinda kills the buy, since I try and stay away from old tracks and pick up new ones at the shop.(Classics are different hehehe)
Anybody else have the displeasure of buying a new vinyl that's an old song?

No, I haven't heard that song, but being a Pako & Frederik production, I'm sure it's quality.

I've had the displeasure of buying a few records that are so-so which I don't really play too much, but I can't say I've had the experience you had. Although, some records I bought I didn't realize were as old as they were.

Why would you call buying old tunes a displeasure and say that it kills the buy? If the song is good and you like it, does the year really matter? I think not. I really fail to see why so many people are against buying and playing old tunes. Hell, I buy old tunes all the time. I do buy new tunes as well, but I try to combine the new and old into one nice flowing set. IMO, the tracklist and overall musical journey of a dj set matters more than whether the songs are 6 years old or 6 weeks old.

Well said. I regularly play some older tunes in my sets. I find it odd that so many people get so hung up over caning the newest tracks all the time.
